Tenth edition and new name
Nigeria Mega Project Expo 2026 runs from 25 to 27 August and is the event's tenth edition. The organiser identifies it as the new name of Nigeria BuildExpo, with an expanded scope covering construction, HVAC, energy, water, and infrastructure.
The official forecast exceeds 8,000 professional visitors and 120 global brands. The event website reports more than 60,000 cumulative visitors across the previous nine editions and brands from more than 20 countries.
Venue, admission and opening times
The fair takes place at the Landmark Centre, 2 & 3 Water Corporation Road, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria. Published visitor hours are 10:00 to 17:00 on 25, 26, and 27 August; exhibitor hours are 09:45 to 17:15.
Admission, conference sessions, and workshops are free for trade professionals, but individual registration is required. The email confirmation is shown at the registration desk, where the badge is printed.
Programme for Tuesday 25 August
Jude Chime, Elan Expo country manager, gives the welcome address at 11:05. The Excellence & Industry Legacy Award follows at 11:45, with the official opening at 12:00 and a VIP exhibition tour from 12:00 to 12:45.
Building the Future of Nigeria: State Infrastructure Priorities, Investment Opportunities & Innovative Financing runs from 13:30 to 15:30, moderated by Bosede Oyekunle. The programme names Joshua Ubandoma Laven, Benjamin Osita Okoh, Kori Shettima, and Adekunle Olayinka as panellists. The exhibition floor remains open from 15:30 to 17:00.
Programme for Wednesday 26 August
The programme lists welcome remarks from 09:25 to 10:30 and a keynote attributed to Muttaqha Rabe Darma from 09:45 to 10:30. Smart Cities, Green Technology, and Sustainable Urban Growth runs from 10:30 to 11:00 with MKO Balogun, Segun Williams, Timothy Nubi, and Adenike Okebu.
Eugene Itua presents Institutionalizing ESG for Risk Reduction in Emerging Real Estate Markets from 11:15 to 11:40. A built-environment decarbonisation panel follows from 12:30 to 13:10, and networking, stand visits, and live demonstrations are scheduled from 14:00 to 17:30.
Programme for Thursday 27 August
A Standards Organisation of Nigeria session is listed from 11:00 to 11:30. Gabriel Awoleye of Panar Group speaks in a session on pipe manufacturing in Nigeria from 11:30 to 12:00.
Vivek Joseph of CostarChem Nigeria presents Costarchem: Building A Strong Future from 12:30 to 13:00. The current visitor page states that the exhibition is open from 10:00 to 17:00.
